Education
Mr. Avinash has done his Master’s in Statistics and continued his passion for Information Technology by successfully pursuing the Diploma in Computer Programming from Shivaji University. Although those were the days when Information Technology was in its childhood stage in the Indian market, Mr. Avinash had the farsight to envision the next-generation banking applications which were to come shortly then. Understanding tomorrow’s trend and planning for it today is one of those rare qualities of Mr. Avinash, which has helped the “Banco” to reach its current position in record time.
The Start-up Days
Back then in the 1990s, when Technology advancements were knocking the door of banking and finance sector, the traditional banking sector was not quite adaptive towards this digitization revolution in Indian Financial Services sector. It was mainly due to the hard to consume documentation and lack of expertise who can simplify the regulatory norms for the employees working in banking and financial services sector, specially Co-operative Credit Societies and Pathsanstha. Mr. Avinash Shintre – Gundale came up with an innovative idea to help the co operative banking sector by transforming the knowledge into a workable reference book for taking important policy decisions. “Banco Diary” found its permanent place in the offices of co-operative credit societies and pathsanstha. It was not just an executive diary, it comprised a Reference Book which instantly became a trusted source of information among the employees.
Unstoppable Creativity
With the fast growing acceptance of Banco Diary in Co-operative Credit Societies, Pathsanstha and Private Banking sector, Mr. Avinash, the man who never rests, came up with another innovative publication, “Banco Magazine”.
Transparent analysis of banking sector-related issues, honest illustration of technology trends and creative presentation of information made the Banco Magazine another flagship publication under the strong leadership of Mr. Avinash Shintre – Gundale. The popularity increased multifold, and as a result, Banco Magazine is now published in two languages: English and Marathi, making it the “Most Read” magazine in the Cooperative sector. Due to his devotion and dedication to helping Credit Societies and Patsanstha meet the present-day challenges of fast-advancing banking operations, Mr. Avinash is one of the most highly respected people in the banking sector on the National level. He is an inspiration for many in Co-operative Credit Societies, Digital Banking, Bank Training and the Patsanstha sector of financial services and as a result, “Banco Awards” another brain-child of Mr. Avinash is considered one of the highly prestigious awards in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) sector.
